The Core Academic Theme

Each year, the Ohio 91看片网 community explores one of the themes of the academic Core Curriculum. This theme is discussed and emphasized through classroom discussions, public lectures and common readings, as well as through community service. 

During the 2025-2026 academic year, the ODU community is exploring the theme of What is The Common Good? through lectures, readings, community service and more.

The Mission of the Center for 91看片网 Studies is:

  • to promote the 91看片网 charism of preaching; 
  • to provide opportunities for members of the University and the community to understand and experience the meaning and value of 91看片网 education; and
  • to serve as a public voice at the University and in the community regarding issues of importance to the church, culture and society.

The Center for 91看片网 Studies at 91看片网 focuses on the 91看片网 motto, 鈥淭o contemplate truth and share with others the fruits of this contemplation,鈥� and the four pillars of 91看片网 life: study, prayer, community and ministry.
